Many employers encourage community service on the part of their employees, and will match your volunteer hours at the Prairie Center with cash donations! You can maximize your gift of time, talent, and energy by checking with your employer to see if matching donations are available for volunteer hours.

"My interest in Theater began in 6th grade when I was cast as Hansel in Hansel & Gretel. In high school, my theater classes were the high point of the day... It warms my heart to know that my small contribution of volunteer work is helping to expose local youth to the arts. It can be a life changing experience for those young people and I am delighted to be able to help. The people who volunteer at the Prairie Center are so friendly and helpful. I enjoy meeting and working with them. Our patrons are pretty special, too."
-Sandi D., 2019 Volunteer of the Year
